Members who send messages to forums are supposed to read and accept METU Forum Service Terms of Use. These rules can be updated anytime; therefore, forum members should follow any probable updates. Members should remind that forum service is used by many users and is open to public. Messages can be read by any member registered to the forum service. Members who violate these rules are firstly warned, and their messages are edited or deleted if necessary. If the warnings are not taken into consideration, those violating members are banned on using the forum service for a period of one month. At the end of this period, banned members can start using the service again; but if the violation is repeated, they are dismissed from forum service.

While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators or moderators (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.

Only people who own a valid e-mail address with metu.edu.tr extension can subscribe to METU forum service. If the e-mail address of a member used to register to forum service is closed or changed with another lacking the metu.edu.tr extension or with an invalid address, his or her forum subscription is cancelled.

Forumda ODTÜ Biliþim Kaynaklarý Kullaným Politikalarý ve T.C. yasalarýna aykýrý konularda konuþulamaz; forumlar reklam ve ticari amaçlar için kullanýlamaz. Ýçeriði ODTÜ Biliþim Kaynaklarý Kullaným Politikalarý ve T.C. yasalarýna aykýrý iletiler gönderilemez. Kiþilik haklarýna saldýrý olarak nitelendirilebilecek iletiler gönderilmemelidir. Saygýsýzlýk, küçük düþürme, aþaðýlama, küfür, tehdit, hakaret gibi üsluplar kullanmak yasaktýr. Gönderilecek bir iletinin bu þekilde anlaþýlabileceðinden þüphe duyuluyorsa, gönderilmemelidir. Ayrýca kiþisel tartýþmalara girilemez, bu tip tartýþmalar ancak "özel mesajlaþma" aracýyla yapýlabilir.

Foruma ileti gönderenler bütün kurallarý okumuþ ve kabul etmiþ sayýlýrlar. Bu kurallar devamlý güncellenebilir; üyeler güncellemeleri takip etmekle sorumludur. Forumun birden fazla üye tarafýndan kullanýldýðý unutulmamalý ve genel olarak forum "halka açýk" bir ortam olarak deðerlendirilmelidir. Gönderilen her iletinin baþkasý tarafýndan okunduðu unutulmamalýdýr. Bu kurallara uymadýðý belirlenen üyeler ilk seferde uyarýlýr, gerektiðinde ilgili iletilere müdahale edilir. Uyarýlarý dikkate almayan üyelerin 1 ay süreyle forumu kullanmalarý engellenir. Bu süre dolduðunda ve engelleme sona erdiðinde, üyelerin kurallarý ihlal etmeye devam ettiði tespit edilirse, söz konusu üyeler forumdan atýlýr.

Forumun yöneticileri ve moderatörleri kurallara uymayan materyali siteden mümkün olduðu kadar kýsa sürede kaldýrmaya çalýþsa da, bütün mesajlarýn incelenmesi mümkün olmamaktadýr. Buraya gönderilen her mesaj, onu gönderen üyenin görüþlerini yansýtýr ve bu mesajlardan moderatörler ya da yöneticiler (kendilerine ait mesajlar dýþýnda) sorumlu tutulamaz.

ODTÜ forum servisine sadece metu.edu.tr uzantýsýna sahip geçerli e-posta adresleri olan kiþiler üye olabilirler. Üye olduktan sonra kayýtlý e-posta adresini metu.edu.tr uzantýsý olmayan veya geçerli olmayan baþka bir e-posta adresi ile deðiþtiren kullanýcýlar ile foruma üyelik için kullanýlan metu.edu.tr uzantýlý e-posta adresi kapatýlan kullanýcýlarýn forum üyeliði silinir.
